why do you think you have to write you have seven years in application development ..I never asked...!don't get too defensive. when you have 14000 PCs and hundereds of applications how many do you think you will end up with... ? trust me my friend ..many.! and based on your comments...spending seven years as a developer does not make you right either.! AS for the second paragraph..I don't think we fundamentally disagree...However instead of having 87 NT server as appservers..I am gonna end up with one UE10000 ...at a fraction of the cost to buy and maintained by one person. and another UE10000 as the database server and I am done...not to mention all the fun work we are doing with IBM SP2 parallel servers( oracle OPS)...hardware more powerful that 200 NT servers managed and maintained by 4 people...and less cost!
