any mention of magnesium at the annual shareholder's meeting?

re-orienting my self somewhat from a business trip to india --
it was interesting to see families of four (with the woman
invariably in an exquisite silk sari) tooling around
on two-wheel mopeds, two-cycle three wheelers with plenty
of potential to go electric, and pages of ads for
UPS battery/inverter systems to kick in twice or thrice a day
for the rotating power outages, in bangalore at least.

although i certainly sense the fear and loathing here about
pure EV vs. hybrid games, my mind lately is on what ECD sees so
far with the joint ECD/GM/USABC project on magnesium.
but why, when stempel writes letters to technical publications
that NiMH alone can be made at $150/kWh?

just hedging really, knowing that if anyone feels the real
truth is closer to one where the 70% of nickel battery cost
attributed to materials vs. labor costs cannot be further lowered
(is this still the GMO line?), then it might be time to
dredge out the old cost table from SI/ECD post #1857.

otherwise, did annual meeting post-game analysis reveal
that kettering might pack more value as an HEV-60 factory for
whatever may be gm/toyota's answer to the honda VV?
