Jerry doesn't have to step down to make AMD a success. Going up against Intel is not easy regardless of who's in charge.
Unless, one flaws AMDs whole strategy of taking on Intel in the first place.
I enjoy watching the competition but I'm not stupid. Intel definitely has the easiest path. Anyone that has invested in AMD or read this thread for a while...knows the score. All your ranting and raving doesn't save any souls.

I did feel sorry for the guy at the shareholders meeting who had 30,000 shares at $30 average. I wonder if they made everyone walk through a metal detector on the way in. <G>

PS...K6-III is a very fast chip. Definitely faster than the Celeron
on mainstream apps.
