It is a beautiful day. Chris, Ben and I are going to Bethesda to St. George's Greek Orthodox Cathedral, every spring and fall the Orthodox churches have festivals where they sell food, drink, and crafts as fund-raisers. This is the best one, they have a really good band playing bouzouki music, and ouzo, and roast lamb, and the best crafts. Greek pastry - baklava, stuffed with walnuts, galatoboureko, stuffed with custard. Spanikopita, stuffed with spinach. Tiropita, stuffed with cheese. Time to party. Opa! |
