Semiconductor Comments

Amat, Klac, Nvls and Ter all look like solid buys here. I picked up more Amat in the low 50's this week, have 20 September 60 call options on Nvls and at the present time hold no Klac or Ter. If you believe that the cycle has turned up and that 2000 and beyond look strong for the semiconductor industry NOW would be an excellent time to add to your positions. Six months from now, a year from now these prices will look cheap. I see some doubles from here and maybe even some triples.

In the middle of May Amat reports earnings and imo any earning surprises will be on the upside. Semiconductor orders have been increasing above expectations in March and the trend is continuing in April especially for companies such as Amat and Nvls. I attribute the weakness you see in the sector to a move, a temporary move, to the cyclical stocks and nothing more.

To me the money is there for the taking I suggest you act.
