(NYSE:AMD) said Friday it named Richard Previte vice chairman and S. Atiq Raza president and chief operating officer, a day after shareholders lambasted company officials at the annual meeting. Advanced Micro also said that it named Robert Palmer, the former chief of Digital Equipment Corp., to Advanced Micro's board of directors. -- Reuters
