Sorry I took so long to answer your questions. Here I go:

I was able to get the streaming video and the animated character.

During the American auction I went with streaming video. No major problems with the video or the sound.

During the Canadian auction I went with the animated character, I didn't even try to get the streaming video (I prefer the animated character instead, it's less distracting and not as hard on your PCs resources). No problems with sound on the Canadian auction either.

I'll quote an investment newsletter here as it best explains how well the auction went in terms of technical issues:

"Inet narrowband is the lowest common denominator and the toughest to deliver live audio/video. BIDS proved the capacity of its system which experienced zero difficulties ("even for a split second") and never exceeded 35% capacity. Tuesday's success bodes incredibly well for the future of consumer, B2B auctions both through server and broadband. Access difficulties experienced by individual internet users were browser-related and confined to certain geographic locations. These problems are under study and should be solved for future events." This quote is taken from Market Digest Online.

See Pluvia I told you, it's your computer that was the problem not the BIDS site.

That pretty much sums it up. The auction was a hit considering all the things that could have gone wrong. I can't wait to here how much sales volume they did. I think we may be pleasantly surprised.

Lola:)
