How do you know most pharmacies carried Vasomax? My recollection from various posts I've read here and on Yahoo is that most people who tried to find Vasomax, couldn't. I recall that Jesse Eisinger(sp?), the reporter for The Street.Com with the anti-Zona bias, even wrote in an article that he tried to find Vasomax in Mexico, but failed. Once again, if you or anyone can point to credible information showing there was a major push by Schering to sell to these pharmacies, I'm listening.

With all the people posting on this and other boards, and various media writing stories on the subject of ED pills, if there had been any Schering PR regarding Vasomax, we likely would have heard by now. There is simply no evidence of that or that Schering "convinced a lot of pharmacies to buy."

I never said there was a "weird test to determine if people would buy without advertising." I believe Schering is gathering marketing data to use in its coming battle with Pfizer in the U.S. and western Europe. That view better fits the facts than saying Vasomax is a failure.

Questions not answered yet:

1. Where is evidence of Schering PR in Mexico?
2. Where is evidence that Schering attempted to convince a lot of pharmacies to buy Vasomax?
3. Why would Schering bother to make a serious effort to sell Vasomax in a poor third world country, the great majority of whose population couldn't afford it?

We know that Schering did get approval for Mexico and shipped some initial product. What we don't know is why. I maintain that the available facts do not support a conclusion that Schering ever considered Mexico a market worth pursuing, or that they made any effort at all to sell the drug there. To conclude that Vasomax failed does not make sense.

A happy weekend to all!

Good luck,

Bruce
