I get by with 64 but 128 would be better. I think the stories of too much RAM slowing you down were from the old motherboards that couldn't cache more than 64MB.

Question for you:

What type of multi-monitor card did you choose, and why did you choose that one? I'm looking at them now, and Appian Graphics seems to have good configurability options for controlling your desktop. I would rate that the most important feature.
