I will miss Wayne. Wayne is the type of person that SI should cultivate, he is witty -- pithy, honest, and a shrewd stock picker. It is clear that his following has left SI and will find a new place on another stock board.

I don't agree with the method he used to inform SI of the problem with thread hypers, but I think he had a valid point. SI is very lax in enforcing "spam" rules and only selectively enforces the terms of use in general.

Daniel Miller is a case in point (since he is not old enough to have an SI membership by the TOU).

However, there are also many SI members who hype the same stocks on the same threads over and over and over -- day in and day out -- these are the people that Wayne was objecting to.

Maybe we should ask SI to create a new class of threads where there is a higher level of accountability and a clear set of rules (which I am willing to pay for). Maybe we should all follow Wayne to his new home and say goodbye to SI.
