Thank you, everyone for your input. It was very much appreciated! As an update, my friend did decide to send her son to school and there were no problems at the school, BUT she got a call at work today from the school and she left in a hurry. We were all wondering what had happened....and tried to hear what had happened on the news, but couldn't find out anything. So....anyway, a couple of hours later she came back, madder than a hornet. Seems as though her son and some others decided to SKIP school and the police found them partying down by a lake. She was so angry at her son! The only answer on here she totally disagreed with was the suggestion that she let her son decide what to do. She said, "Heck, if he were to decide, it would be to skip school!" Looks like she was right on that one! <g> Thanks again, everyone! Juanita
