Lots of questions and no answers......
1. Does anyone know how the U-4 saves money? I understand the cost savings is in the HSA.
2. the U-8 is supposed to save money by using system electronics to replace drive electronics. It is this realistic and business mean that crash prone software will be replacing hardware functions?
3. Any idea what the cost targets are four U-4 and U-8?
4. Aside from using a disc with one defective side, which I would assume to be in inadequate supply for all the low-end PCs being built, what would be the cost savings of the drive that utilized only one side of one plaster? Does this make any sense to cut drive capacity in half to save this kind of money, even for the lowest price PCs?
5.Any word on whether Conner is using some type of wireless suspension?
6.Are we likely to begin seeing a slowing of the very rapid aerial density increases of the last few years which came about as MR and GMR appeared? How far can GMR extend and is the next major evolutionary step micro-actuation would still seems to be a couple years away?
7. Am I correct in assuming that as the theoretical limits of aerial density are approached, progression should begin to slow considerably?
