Flip,

Poor service is no excuse.Pay the price and do the job or get the hell out of the business.I have accounts opened as we speak now at Scotia and at Greenline. They all have the problems but that is because of poor management and reactive management and not pro-active management.

On-line net trading is in it's infancy.Growing pains ?????Yes. Your mentality suggests to me that I would not want you working for the Royal as your attitude towards the housewife who wants to trade is abysmal to say the least.A customer is a customer and that is exactly the thinking the banks have gotten away from. They are now numbers and fees and no more.

I watched an old re-run of the Beverly Hillbillies the other night and thought. If more bankers thought like you are thinking then they would be kissing the housewifes a*s like Mr. Drysdale did with the clampetts should she win the lottery or make a fortune trading. That is the only customer the banks will talk to and if you don't believe me look at VIP service at the bank and its growth.
The little guy or gal is just a number and all the window dressing in the world in mass advertising won't convince me otherwise. It may convince some but not all.Experience is the best teacher. You should stop and listen a bit yourself and hear what people are saying. You still have a lot to learn yourself.
