what's your take on INSP and your price target?
Last week when the internet stocks were getting hit, I had some cash in my account and I was determined not to sit this sale out. INSP was on my short list; I was looking for stocks that were getting hit significantly, but mainly because of the broad sell-off. When INSP dipped below 100, I had to get in. I like the fact that they're projected to actually make money by next year, and that they seem to have strong alliances with some name companies. Also, my short-term brain was reminding me that there's a split coming up, and that if the sector came back before the split, we're likely to see a typical pre-split run-up for INSP. (I also picked up ELNK that day).
My original thinking for INSP was that I'd play it short-term pre-split and walk away with a nice profit. But after further investigation, I'm reconsidering that thinking. I've made the mistake of getting out early before, and I live with regret because of it. As for a price target, I won't pretend to know any more than anyone else ... it's just about impossible to guess right. I do feel like the company's in good shape, and with the net sector ripe for a rebound next week, it should run nicely into the split. I'd guess we'll see at least a small sell-off post-split, after that, who knows?
