Thanks KMAC, but no apology necessary ... Thanks for the apology KMAC, but it was unecessary. My original post (#593) would have been more effective had I been more succinct. The purpose of my post was merely to reaffirm a technical fact -- namely that LGPT's EFP/LNS technology is credible and has been patented. On some benchmarks, LNS technology does indeed outperform conventional floating point. I apologize to the members of this forum for writing a long post (#593) when a shorter post would have sufficed. I wish to remain neutral regarding LGPT's commercial prospects and thus will seldom post to this forum.
