asmc was on the pay-per-view channel saturday they were obviously touting their company. talked about buy myweb--they will eventually have the name MYWEB and are working with sun microsystems to use java and phillips to buy set top boxes. asmc programs the portal so that it can be used with these devices in the language of the country. their focus will be far east, later latinam. ceo wong spoke with a strong asian accent but seemed sharp, his american colleagues were not that impressive but it could have been their first time on TV. overall they seemed fairly competent and serious. the really want to hit the far east hard and are working aggressively at it. they are #1 in malaysia and desire to be a player throughout the far east. curtis
