*AV*--at 20:1 why not play a long shot<GG>. Just like Gold Stocks.<G>
I have a gold stock of my own that has been good forclose to 25% profits everytime it oscillates. A real penny stock (8 cents), that has gone as high as 25 cents and then fell back only to play the 8 cent to 12 cent game. Of course you never get the 12 cents, usually only 10 cents. I use it to pay the kids their allowance. You know, 100K shares for $8K and then take the 1cents for $2K. I do it 2 or 3 times a year in an account that charges $7-$15 per trade<GGG>.
This company could be the next Bre-X. They have a working copper and silver mine in Mexico that has been in operation for years. It does have some gold but not anything to write home about. Apparently they took a turn in one of their active veins and did a core sample. All of a sudden the gold content starting increasing in density. the y decided to head in that direction and to expand the operation. you know the rest. The stock spiked to 25 cents, I bailed and let it get back to 8 cents later on in order to get back in. Playing with $8K isn't much of a gamble when the potential is for turning it into $200K. the only problem is that the odds are like winning on a number in roulette in Vegas. Besides, it doesn't have much downside to it before it becomes Bre-X junior.<GG> Can this penny stock be manipulated? Damn right it can, and it is. I watch it hit the pump and dump sites and newsletters and they do move the stock when they hype and spam it. Unfortunately, it has been quiet for 2-3 months, the longest it has been stagnant. I guess the insiders sold enough shares to fund other businesses and are working on those businesses.
No I won't divulge the name of the company. Way to squirrelry a company to give it even a hint of visibility. This is more of like betting on 3 Rings with a $50. you never know, it might just come in.
But then again, I am sitting on 100 Suisse Gold credits at $325 from eons ago. Gold, the good investment: I woulda been better off having the cash in the mattress<GG>.
