Investment game update (day 4):

IOM+SYQT portfolio: $2000 divided equally between IOM and SYQT at Feb 26th's closing prices would now be worth $2196 (+9.8).

IOM alone: $2000 invested in IOM at Feb 26th's closing price would now be worth $1892 (-5.4).

BPP, thank you for wishing me luck on my investments. I can always use it. (Now if only I hadn't shorted Micron Tech last month!) The game serves two functions: (1) to fill the time between earnings reports and news releases, and (2) to find publically whether more money can be made in the short term by supporting both rivals (IOM & SYQT) than by sticking with the leader (IOM). It may be educational to IOM longs (like me) to find that there's money to be made by consorting with the enemy.
