" if you think this stock has seen its last days, you are entitled to you opinion. "
Please don't put words in my mouth, I never said anything remotely resembling that. Again, a comparison to CMGI. It doesn't seem to matter that there are significant differences between the two situations to you. Heck, just comparing the floats of the 2 stocks would show you a significant difference.
"From what I have heard, the only wat the 75mm Appollo deal falls through is if they get trumped by a higher bidder, though I think that is unlikely. The deal is firm and may already be a done deal.
You heard that? From whom? If the deal is done there should be an SEC filing concerning it. You do know what Edgar is, don't you? Please provide a way to verify your statement, else I'll regard it as cyberhype.
BTW, no need for silly posturing about losing houses and such. It sounds like your friend didn't have a very good grasp of risk management, or a serious ego problem which wouldn't allow him to accept that he'd made a bad trade. Neither has anything to do with making a bad trade, so it's irrelevant to the discussion here. Is that stuff like you guys do when you're at the bar rooting for your favorite football team to score a homerun?
"I guess they are wrong and you are right."
Who is they? The folks at Apollo, the company, who? Of course, time will tell. I just don't see buying into the hyperbole that the company has issued without seeing any substance. So far, there is no there there.
