Hey, baby. Sounds like you're feeling better. The rhodies sound so beautiful. I wonder if they are as beautiful as you make them sound, or whether they sound good because of the way you talk about them?
I just went out to see if the lilacs are blooming. Not yet. I didn't think so, but I saw some blooming in a yard down the street, only a few blocks away. Micro-climate, I think, ours are downhill and shaded by the neighbor's house. The azaleas are blooming, only three bushes, one coral, one fuschia, one scarlet. I think of them as being just right to make silk skirts for fairies.
The oak trees all have leaves now, about the size of a baby's hand. But in a bucket full of rain on the patio I saw the rain had knocked down a bunch of little ones, the size of mice paws. Perfect little minature oak leaves.
Wish you could see them. |
