Sean,look at all the high growth companies,internet,fiber plays out there..They dont make money.....YET!Believe me,this is gonna be hot@! Fixed Wireless Broadband is becoming HOT!Look at the recent headlines from both WCOM and SRINT.These large telcos are snapping up similar fixed wireless companies.I have the prospectus from ADAP and am impressed.Recently Lucent was claiming that they have the industries most comprehensive network solution for high speed wireless access to the internet.Something that ADAP disputes. COMPARISONS.... 1. AB=ADAPTIVE BROADBAND-1.AB-Access' data rate is 25Mbps over the air,which is 450 times faster than todays 56k computer modems.LUCENT proclaims that its product operates at 1.5Mbps,or 26 times faster. 2.AB-Acess'geographic range is 3-5 kilometers;LUCENT's is 2-3 kilometers. 3.AB-Acess is in field trials now;commercially available in may.Lucent says their product will be available in the fourth quarter of 1999..Exerpts from ADAP press release.Point is this..They have a viable solution now for last mile access at large bandwidth data rates..QWST,LVLT,ATT,basically all are grappling with this problem now.FIXED WIRELESS BROADBAND IS THE FUTURE FOR LAST MILE AND ADAP WILL BE A LEADER IN THE FIELD IN MY OPINION.
