Here's a little unexpected problem from left field...my machine has recently started locking up when in idle mode and I've got no clue about why. This happens regardless of what I've got open, i.e. sometimes I leave it on during the day to collect quotes or I leave nothing open and there's nothing on the screen but the desktop. Then when I come back it's either locked up on a running program or it locks up when I bump the mouse to power up even if there was nothing open and I just want to see the desktop again. The funny part is I never have any trouble with it when it's "active", i.e. I'm actually using it. I scandisk and defrag regularly, no problems. Anyone have any idea what this may be a symtom of? Thanks.

Dave
