I do not know where the $15.00 per tonne figure came from. I can offer the following. It would probably not cost much more than $15.00 per tonne to move dirt and put the ore through the mill. The question is how much dirt do you have to move to get to the ore and is the ore rich enough to justify the expense of moving all the dirt and then processing all the ore. That is what the bulk sample will tell you.
From what I have seen the diamonds are on the fine side which means that one has to move a lot of dirt to get a gem diamond of value.
