Gerald, There is no risk is shorting LGND because the money was used to
buy ALRIZ (which has LGND warrants to cover). Its a pure arbitrage play.
As I said before, you don't know what you are talking about. NONE
of the second tier Biotechs are making money. What would have happened to
a short position of AGPH at 30! They have yet to make a dime yet their price tripled in 6 months!
Biotechs go up BEFORE they make money. Your advise has no historical basis. Stick with AMGN. They
have a bottom line to make you comfortable (but not much money lately).
How about shorting AMGN when they were selling for 1% of their current
value? Those shorts would have been massacred long before AMGN made a dime.
