I likened the arrangement to a "Wet Lease", as used in airplane charters...
ZSUN may well have provided the facilities (office, staff, etc...) to AOL for a set fee, without being ultimately responsible for the actual service itself, which remained under AOL's management and control. At least, that's what I understood.
When ZSUN saw the experiment worked satisfactorily, they decided to offer the concept on a subcontract basis. As it expended, AOL moved to its own premises, at a later date.
This, in my opinion, doesn't really contradict what you were told by ZSUN's employee.
The only real bitch you could have, other than the arguments about semantic, is the fact that the accounts have not yet been tabled. I do not doubt ZSUN's management, but if this does not happen within 2 weeks, I too will be starting to ask some pointed questions.
