Dr. Damadian will NEVER sell out to GE. I know most people on this thread won't accept this, but he is a true humanitarian. Money does not motivate him. Last time I heard, he was still driving an old Chevvy. What does motivate him is the prospect of bringing razor sharp MRI images down below $100 a scan in price so as to make it a viable screening tool for breast cancer. Of course, that would have a terrible impact on GE's X-Ray sales. Corporate titans like Jack Welch will never understand people like Damadian who do not worship the almighty dollar, hence their ferocious efforts to destroy him and his company.
