Actually, Bill, NLP has been around for years. The term has certainly been co-opted by many for their own purposes, but is actually a bona-fide method of therapy, if you will, used in the helping professions. Certain of its characteristics are similar to hypnosis. Sometimes considered "out-there", but it exists, to be sure. I haven't had occasion to discuss the subject in some years, so my memory may be faulty. (edit) Check out desk58.freeserve.co.uk for some further information.<ggg> This in no way mitigates your description of Robins's shortcomings, but I thought it better to clear the record with regards to her "invention" of the term.
