Ten, remember Packard Bell? They used to be way up there in market share (maybe #1 at one time?). Then, they started to score last in reliability studies, and continued to place that way. I know they've made some other blunders, but I believe their quality and reliability woes, which were somehow traced to quality of workmanship, including things as simple as bad soldering techniques, cost them in sales. Also, I've mentioned here before that grey market components, mobos and memory being the most common reused parts, can do a lot of harm to MTBF. What the hell, I'll say it...You get what you pay for.
