Wrong, Pezz. I don't have to justify myself. But since you asked: I trapped to make money. My friend and I trapped all winter and made $100 each, which we had for about thirty minutes. I'll tell you what we bought, but it would just open up a whole new area of debate which I don't think you are up to. I still have mine, and so does my friend. As long as Slick Willie is prevented from getting his way we will continue so. (Don't forget the theme of this board, now.)

The fact that we made money is completely inconsequential to the fact that we were close to the land, that we grew up and learned to respect it. You could never understand the memories that I have because your experience is clothed in political correctness.

But the real question is: "Why were my friend and I able to sell our pelts for money?" Because the yuppies of the day were willing to pay the New York fur shops top dollar for fur coats and collars, who in turn payed the Pacific Hide and Fur Depot, who in turn paid the two boys who learned how to exist in the ecosystem, not just pet it.

By the way, since you are so close to the New York Museum of Natural History, why don't you take a look at the dioramas. In one you'll find some specimens of a species called Martes americanus. Dead ones. Now just how do you think those two got dead??? I'll give you one guess and a hint. He's a trapper. Name him.
