Mohan, Larry is the first to admit that his model looks at DELL with a narrow view...like wearing blinders in a sense...he is just telling you/us how the various stocks compare visavis the model, p/e's included. He knows that we are making all the $$$ while he waits conservatively for his model to tell him to buy/sell...live and let live though i say...he is happy, we are happy...and it is interesting IMO to read the model input as part of the bigger picture. BTW, i doubt dell's p/e will EVER drop to 26-30 anyway, because DELL will continue to change the biz model with changing times and technology...and assuming it remains a well-managed company it will always be high growth in whatever area it needs to be...now it is pc and internet...who knows what that will look like in 5 years? but i think it will look GOOD! particularly given the 7 year agreement with IBM...i'd place my bets on DELL short and long term. cheers, GR
