Suppose this is true (although we've had plenty of equity migration east-to-west since the Asian crisis in the last year and a half). It is still perception that moves stocks, and I doubt that this is something people are going to consider in evaluating this stock.

OTOH, all ships don't necessarily go out with the tide. Maybe ASTN will continue on to 20. Maybe it will form a base above $9.50 -- $10.00. I just feel pretty certain that if it moves away from me now I'll have another chance later at around these prices. Plus, if the market takes everything down, there will be bargains galore for those that were flat or short.

OTOH, if you really like a stock for the long-term, it's probably best to keep a core position and not play around since you never know for sure what will happen.
