Some people are thinking we'll see twelve again this week. I'm thinking we'll see eighteen.

The huge volume and share increase over the past five days indicates that there must be massive brokerage house buying. And that means they probably have information we don't have as to Microforum's real value when compared with it's US counterparts. For most of the Canadian houses I think Bid.Com was an introduction to the world of internet stocks, and it was a very big lesson. Despite what Yorkton may feel is Bid.Com's real valuation, the fact of the matter is a Canadian Internet Company went from under a dollar to over $30 in less than six months - 3000% in less than half a year! It's an experience that I believe has complete changed the landscape of Canadian investment. Some houses made money, but I'll bet you a lot more sat on the sidelines and lost out. And I can tell you they're not going to make that mistake again. Interestingly, enough the same phenomenon is happening in Australia where they've just discovered their own domestic Internet stock plays.

Add to this Canadian "I missed Bid.Com" brokerage factor the discovery of Microforum by US investors following the NYC e-commerce show. Then, throw in a dash of new contracts, as hinted at by Marco Argenti in the recent Stockhouse article, and it makes for an incredibly volatile mixture.

This stock is going to do some wild gyrations as traders buy and sell, take their profits, shake down the little guys, then buy back in. It happens to the best of Internet stocks. But I can tell you this baby is not going to take six months to get to a $30 valuation. Give it a week or two, maybe a month and this thing will be up from where it now is big time!

And yes I'm long and holding.
