Dushy,

Suggest you come over to the Schwab IPO thread and review old posts where many of your questions will be answered.

Schwab doesn't allocate less than 100 shares.

Hold times are long, but I trade for a living and just use a speaker phone and go about my business until they answer.

Schwab does not allocate based on percentage. Ask for 10,000 or ask for 100 and you will probably only get 100.

Is all the hassle worth it for "a lousy 100 shares"? I've managed to get into 20 or so IPOs with Schwab and have a gain of $27k on $37k invested over 4 months. (Sold some and holding others.) This is a HUGE gain with essentially ZERO RISK since the IPOs don't usually fall below their offer price. I have not lost money on any yet.

I am well into the 6 figures in my account and I will never complain when I can pick up $27k as easy as this.

Good luck

Gary
