I usually only lurk on this thread, although I am a shareholder and love this company! I use to trade CMGI, but in January decided to just hold for the long term. Luckily, with the huge increase in price, and the last split, my average buy-in is low enough that I can tolerate the volatility.

I haven't seen much recent discussion about Silknet here (I admit I don't read every post). I would like to provide some input, since I am a computer consultant and participated this week on a conference call that was with Silknet to give a general summary of their products.

I don't know how much confidentially applies, so I will just give some general input on my impression.They did mention that CMGI, along with others, had provided financing and that the IPO is scheduled for Wednesday, May 5th. They stressed that they have a very experienced management team and some impressive satisfied customers, who have seen good results from implementing the Silknet software. They have packages for Customer Relationship Management, E-Commerce, and a platform for Electronic Business. The architecture of the system is all internet based and looked very nice to me. There was also a nice quote about their products from the Gartner Group.

Hopefully investors will see Silknet as an IPO with great potential and CMGI share price will increase to reflect this interest.
