hbugay...FLNK,as an example. VS. NPSC.

Both BBs. FLNK just started reporting. NPSC reporting long term..

If you look at a 1 year chart, using Big Charts, which will plot an earnings up or down arrow, with trend lines and volume. You see NPSC, earnings up, with a nice upward trend line. FLNK, after coming down from $3, was flat at around .40 with a recent spike up from leveraging a relationship with CISCO Systems. It has had these spikes before, that tend to dissipate. Given so little to go on, from the lack of reporting history, I have to put more faith in the charts. NPSC on the other hand, because of the thin float, has its spike in the charts as well, but with a clear upward trend, and strong visible earnings.

This reminds me of something Mark Blundell said to me during our first conversation, that I think might be appropriate to recall. He mentioned that he had been approached by venture capitalists, with promises of zooming the stock to $5 dollars, for certain stock rights. Even though, he needed capital, he turned them down. He also is very much aware, that given all of the developments that have occurred with the company he could leverage this for quick stock appreciation, but decided to stay focused on building a business, and limiting press to milestones. I think I called him a true "scout" in an earlier post. Very honorable and noble.

I think, however he realizes there is enough here, and his ambitions are broad enough, to warrant, a more aggressive message to the "street", and so they are pursuing the PR firm option.

FLNK may very well be on to something...it just needs time to gell, from my own personal perspective. Another tidbit in terms of comparison. FLNK, being into the new hot area of application server hosting/outsourcing, will have a good bit of competition, as will ABOV and EXDS, from the likes of IBM, and EDS, and big players who believe, they have been doing this for some time, and are starting to focus on asserting their dominance in an area that's old but new again.

A friend of mine asked me once: what's so special about NPSC? What is their competitive advantage?

I told her, they have no real competitive advantage in the traditional sense. There are many many players in this field. What you have is, a market with almost insatiable demand, in that every company for its survival will need to leverage the net as a new media avenue and a new distribution and commerce channel. To be successful, you need a strategy that works, the ability to deliver product and service, creating elated repeat customers, with excellent management focused on growing the business. The soon to be New Paradigm Strategic
Communications, has all that.

There are so many folks doing similar things with different twists. RRRR, wants to be a little CMGI while building websites, THNK (new ideas), wanted to be the best advertiser/web site builder, catering to only the "big guys". Well a lot of little guys need a web presence also. K2 was focused too much on controlling costs and not enough on growing. USWB thinks pure size is the key. Lets not forget MSGI, who is parlaying big backers into large stock appreciation. I have owned all these stocks, and currently hold only NPSC. Simply because they are executing on all cylinders: rapid controlled growth, making money, with a framework that works well.
