HDTV is kicking into high gear. You will not hear a lot about this from the print media because they hate broadcasters and are generally ignorant of the technical issues involved. SeaChange International will benefit from HDTV greatly because many TV stations will go to multi-casting..i.e. using the digital capability to send out several different programming channels at the same time. They will need a lot more satellite delivered material and SeaChange is positioning itself to meet this demand. Incidentally, saw a $3500 large screen HDTV set at the store the other night..great picture. They were running "Dances with Wolves" on it. Amazing. I wouldn't be surprised to see similar sets going to $1000 within the next year or two. Prices coming down fast.
