And While I'm Speculatin'...
Maybe MyDonate... which could become MyDonate.com (because they own the domain)... is something far larger. Maybe it's a way to make donations to PBS as part of its market-leading Digital Television experience... allowing you to make a donation in exchange for downloading some content of special value? PBS is taking the lead in Digital TV... at least according to information I've been reading and posting. As a pure side note: I've long wished that somebody would come up with Charitable or Good Cause search engine/donation site which enabled me to make quick, small donations to various worthy causes. And imagine this, I come across an article from Negroponte that has a fee attached to it... but the fee is entirely donated to one of his favorite causes.
Of course, the question becomes... with such do-good-ing scenarios, how would WAVX get its usual cut?
Or, am I looking that this all bassackwards? Is MyDonate a virtual tip cup that allows me to reward what I DO like in content and, by omission, penalize what I don't?
