Actually, I didn't have a lot of fun on the Beltane thread. Being wallflower at the orgy probably looks funnier than it feels.
But Chris and I did go back to the Greek fest and listen to the good band, and drink more ouzo. Then we came back and played the stereo, loud, until all hours, and had more to drink. Haven't played the stereo loud since the kids were born, but Nick wasn't here to object and Ben doesn't mind. Jackson Browne, Jane's Addiction, Rhea's Obsession, Eden, Pearls Before Swine, Fleetwood Mac, it was just a lot of fun.
Now we are going to go to the opening weekend of the Virginia Renaissance Faire. The boys are wearing costumes, with swords, and Chris is wearing his kilt. I am not dressing up, just shorts, a top and tennis shoes, everything I own to dress up in is warm, because I usually wear it to the Maryland Renaissance Faire, which is in the fall. Maybe I'll see a costume at the Faire and buy it.
For a change, my life is more fun in 3-D.
