I had a 12 month subscription that just lapsed on the 26th. Over two months ago I started getting emails from customer service advising that I should sign up for another year and that my credit card had expired. I kept getting these about every week. I thought this a bit unusual because I had over two months left on my subscription. Then at the same time I started having problems downloading data. I figured that they had shut me off. I sent an email to customer service but didn't get a response. Weeks latter when I contacted customer service via phone they said that my service was OK but that they had changed the downloading program and that I should have been using an updated one. I think this is strange - that they could repeatedly solicit my business for another year yet they never sent a single email to notify me that they had screwed up software or had updated? They left it up to me to figure out that there was a problem but were more than happy to take my money for another year with repeated emails that bordered on spamming.

When I called customer service, I asked them to give me credit for two months that I hadn't used the service. They could check their own logs to see that I wasn't able to download. Maybe it was due partly to my ignorance or neglect, but from my perspective I was denied service due to their negligence of providing service or at least informing me that there was a change or problem in their downloading site.

As it is, I am not a happy camper and would strongly recommend others to drop Quotes Plus. They just have too little respect for the folks that pay their bills.
