Mo: I am a good listener, seldom poster, to this thread, but very involved. You are absolutely right about the low-cost or free systems. I have also heard about the "quality" of the E-machines. A friend who runs an ISP says they are using obsolete or rejected modems ($5 each cost basis) and users need much assistance from the ISP. Customer cannot understand why they are getting disconnected, slow connections, etc. Those machines are no threat to Dell.They should stop trying to get something for nothing and GO DELL. Karen
