Very good Jim! You've illustrated The Register's, and particularly Mike Magee's, great journalistic standards. They get a hold of any wild a** rumor and post it as news. Pathetic. They've done favoring both Intel and AMD.

I had some speculative problems with the configuration of the test machines, but who am I to question the Great Mike Magee? I was not aware of the BB posting. Good job.

I've went ahead and read some of your posts, and yes I remember Tom's review of the Klamath. Any benchmarking that comes out before final silicon is a pot shot.

I would really suggest that people categorize The Register's posts as pure entertainment, unless they specifically quote a named and known source.
