We all know NAVR has a really big upside here. I'm glad I'm in it ... obviously. Congratulations to both you, and I, and all longs, for sticking with it through the tough times (and there were some).
But I look at things a bit differently than you. I don't mind people posting both sides of an issue, or trying to attain a little balance between optimism and pessimism.
When too many people are only looking at things one way, it leads to excesses and then corrections from the excesses.
I'd rather see this go up smoothly and evenly, and not burn itself out. I'd love to see it run up to the 40's ... I hope it does, slow and steady.
You mentioned the VVTV thread. Over there, there are very few posts ... if anything a near total lack of interest and a lack of excitement which I think is under representative of what the stock can do. So there I have been emphasizing the upside, because I think it is underrepresented.
On the NAVR thread, there is huge interest, and it is easy to conduct a dialog because ones posts will be answered quickly... and its a lot of fun here too. BTW I've been posting here since last December from time to time, and I intend to continue doing so, with or without anyones blessings or approval. I know you've been a long time presence on this site too, and more active than me in your posts, and that's cool. Again, I congratulate you on your forsight in sticking with NAVR.
However, there is this tendency on these threads to get totally carried away at times and I think that is dangerous and out of balance ... I am now choosing to make posts which attempt to keep things in balance.
There is also sometimes a tendency on these threads to be synical or suspicious towards anyone who voices any caution at all ... to tell them to take there posts elsewhere, to be suspicious of their motives, etc. I don't agree with that approach ... if one is afraid to look at both sides of a scenario, then one is asking for trouble. And the biggest downside risk for a stock, and the biggest risk of shorters and naysayers, etc., is when euphoria gets out of hand and things move one way too fast.
I'd rather see it move slow and steady, but I'm keeping my eyes and my options open on this for opportunities if it gets overdone.
By all means, let everyone enjoy the party this weekend ... I know I have, and it's been a long time coming. But still, I'd rather not see us all get too carried away just yet.
Just my opinion ... your entitled to yours. Enjoy the coming week ... it should be fun. |
