Hi Ian,..Re:.the last 4 quarter data series. Might that not reflect some seasonal or one time volatility in food and energy prices. I don't know but went back and looked up crude prices for Dec.'98 and they were higher than now so I don't think energy alone could have done it. tfc-charts.w2d.com We'll find out when we see the PPI and CPI on May 13th & 14th. Also, the prices paid component of the NAPM out tomorrow might have a clue or two! <g> On Dell, I agree we're going to see some impressive performance. Happy trading, Lee
