Mike I am surprised at you. you have been posting to Franklin boards long enough to know the answers to those questions. For the newbies out there that are wondering if Mikes question should create concern or worry understand that some continue to bring out innuendo in hopes to guide the reader to half stories and misdirect the attention.

1) Nope AMEX was not the final goal and heres a clue IMO its still not. As bad as everyone wanted them to go to NASDAQ they simply did not qualify due to the share price level only. They were so sick and tired of being on the bulletin board that they took the next best thing. Now most think they wanted off BB because of the perceived MM manipulation. I'm sure that had some part in the urgency but I think the real goal was to be taken seriously as a company. This was very difficult being a BB stock. If you want to be taken seriously by the investors and have exposure to institutional monies you need to be off BB.

2) As for FNET IPO I think many want it now. FWIW I think they should wait until they have a saleable IPO. FNET needs more exposure, more revenues, more JVs, more networks,in addition they need to be self sufficient. If they IPO now they risk not being as attractive an IPO than they would by maybe just 2 quarters from now. Of course they can announce now that they plan to file the papers to start the ball rolling, but if I was them I would be sure that when its priced that it has the above basis covered. So what if it takes time, I can wait.
