Andy - Re: " I'm wondering if you would share your current evaluation of the long term prospects of Rambus..."

Rambus seems to be "teetering" at this point.

Intel will have to make good on delivering FUNCTIONAL Camino/820 chip sets along with the concurrent availbility of "acceptable" DRDRAM memory chips (speed & price & quantity) by the end of September.

If these objectives aren't met AND 133 MHz SDRAMS become available with alternative chip set support, RAMBUS's future in PC memory may be questionable.

Septemebr/October will be the make/brake point.

However, RAMBUS does seem to have the new Sony Playstation locked up as well as existing Nintendo 64 game machines.
