<< Robert, your posts are often a bit unbalanced, however much I sympathize with your contempt for Milosevic. >> Well, I'll admit one mistake. My "suck up" comment to Michael was actually meant for someone else, and the comment was out of line. I intentionally present an unbalanced view. I find that the Milosevic government, and their "ethnic cleansing racial hatred policies" are so detestable, that other subtleties, such as evaluations of NATO or our own government's actions or inactions, are many times more secondary. So I refuse to go that route. After this is over, and the Serb Military suffers major damage, and Kosovo is under an international peace command, my interest and approach to discussing other facets of this conflict would change. My motive? I am, and have always been a strong advocate for victims rights. I abhor what Slob Milosevic, who I consider criminally insane, is doing to innocent families. What can I do about it? I can send money and I can speak up against him. "To be silent" would be the same as "to be indifferent". |
