<<Who or what does GATA stand for?>> They're an outfit looking to sue the financial community for "manipulating" gold prices to the low levels we see today. Unfortunately, I fear all they'll do is set a precedent for politicians to hit mining companies (e.g. shareholders) with "windfall" taxes if we're right on our bets of higher gold prices in the future.
