I indeed did have a fantastic weekend. Hope you did as well.

In regards to the CIH virus, I don't believe it infects all the .exe files off the bat, but any open files or anything that's run is infected since the virus is waiting in memory to 'ambush' them.

For your modem question, that's tough. The courier v.everything modems are quite nice, but extremely extensive. I would definitely examine your uses first. Why do you need the voice capabilities? What applications do you plan to use it with...that type of stuff.

Yep. I've been toying with it at home and work. Two+ systems running a tiny network. One small hub, one 56k v.90 modem or a cable modem. Simple modem sharing software like Wingate or my Sygate (personal favourite). Takes about two minutes to setup.
