Dear Fred: re: "Will i get tons of hate mail relating to this posting ? probably...." So as not to let you down:
Just wanted to tell you how much we all hate you here. If it wasn't for your good taste in race cars we'd be publicly hanging you, too. Feel better?
Now.... as for answering your Siemens' Q - which was: "If there was NO 'Tie' to Siemens AG, would you be investing in this company?"
Personally, I was in this stock long before I knew anything about the Siemens/ FNTN relationship. Had it not been Siemens it would have been some other large company. It's the nature of the beast. There is no shortage of large corporations looking for great ideas. Siemens was a natural. There are numerous large technology companies that actively search for small, creative companies like FNTN - and the synergism is usually a two-way win. If Siemens was just a crutch for FNTN, Siemens wouldn't be wasting their time, money and human resources. So I see Siemens as an outgrowth of FNTN's underlying strength - not as a symptom of weakness.
It's always nice to see your posts, Fred. Please understand that very few of us on this thread are afraid of reasonable criticism. It's a simple matter of many of us being in this stock long enough to know a lot - and frankly, know better. As James mentioned, there are some incredibly astute contributors to this thread. While critical examination is expected, mindless doomsayers and the hopelessly uninformed are not given much serious consideration anymore- and where on Earth would that be any different? Many of us FNTN shareholders are well past the scared sh**less point associated with most BB investments. We simply know too much to take that kind of emotional back-step. As for scam stocks, being a BB or OTC stock doesn't make a company crooked any more than being Italian makes a person part of the Mafia. Being a BB means high-risk. Period. We know that. Michael Sheppard knows that. So yes. Always. "Buyer beware." And yes. "If you don't like it, don't buy it."
I've done my DD on FNTN. I firmly believe that Financial Intranet is a terrific company.. and an even better investment. I like it. I bought it. I'm staying with it. Apparently, so is Siemens - whatever their role may be. Welcome back, Fred - and good luck with all your investments. Wally |
