Dick; Thank you for the enlightenment. I greatly admire him for that and give him my moral support. When you think of in terms of electricity used, technicians time and cost of the tool, you should be able to get the cost under $10-$20 on a cash basis. How many breast scan per hour can one machine do, when used with zero unimaging time(closely spaced clients) I can see a cost of only a few $ per hour (unless liquified gasses are needed) for the electricity. The same thing is happening with the eye lasers. They want all to pay $2000 per eye for a simple $50 thing, very much profits here. The machinery makers are trying to stop price competition by huge royalties and othe rprice fixing schemes. Power to the people. Of course if GE said they wanted the same thing, MRI for $25 per, would that change the good doctors mind. Just speculating. What does GE charge for a treatments in one of it's centers? Since this is a nonintrusive harmless device can an ordinary person buy one and use it, or does the doctors union not like that. I for one can see a dramatic expansion in use if the price falls to that level and below.($100)
